The victory against Lazio today was really needed, now all we have to do is wait for Roma to beat Inter tonight and the gap between Milan and them will be even smaller. Lazio was superior in the second half though, and Zarate was great. Very weird OG by Silva.

I'll admit it's looking bad for Liverpool right now, but I really think we can come back. It's not over till the fat lady sings 9th May 2010

It turns out you're not always happy when you're a good football player in one of the bigger leagues.

This just shows how unfair life is.

I'm not a fan of Hannover, but I feel sorry for the fans. They lost one of their best players. I heard he was special because he stayed normal despite his success.
His funeral's tomorrow.

WTF TOTTENHAM WON 9-1 DEFOE SCORED 5 YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME LOLZ

EDIT: Defoe is now the Premier League top scorer, right? 11 goals if I'm not mistaken, 1 better than Torres's 10.

Although, I must say, when Defoe scores, he scores A LOT. 8 of his 11 goals came from just two matches.

In Final Score, Andy showed a glimpse of the game where the board read 9-1, but i though i had heard wrong...

What. A. Match. Terrible display from Wigan. 5 goals by Defoe and brilliant game for Lennon. All in all, a world class perfomance by Spurs who i think will finish above Liverpool this season and even qualify for the Champions League! They are a top side now and are ready. Their biggest threat imo is Aston Villa, then Liverpool. And maybe even count in Sunderland for a place in the Europa League, their biggest achievement in football!

Default Dammit, I demand a replay

Where's the media fuss and calls for a replay of the match for the Wigan goal?

Unless Liverpool suddenly go on some 10-match winning streak. Their title hopes are effectively over, though.

Also, they might be on a drawing streak, but Man City DO have a game in hand and are by no means out of contention for the Champions League spot.

Oh, and as much as we would all like to see it, the top 7 will most probably be Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Man City and Aston Villa (in no particular order). Sunderland have a small chance though, if Liverpool keep up this bad form, they might even find themselves out of Europe altogether.

THE HAND OF GOD HAS BEEN REVIVED

When the other team scores nine goals, you don't really think much about it. When it is the deciding goal, like in France vs. Ireland, you really think a lot about it. xD

LOL 9-1!!!

I even heard that the Wigan players (so out of their own pocket) are re-funding all the tickets to their away supporters, as a away of saying sorry for that display.

Anyway, a nice 4-3 win over Cagliari on Sunday. AC Milan under Leonardo has a new philosophy, 'why win 1-0 when you can win 4-3'. Some of the football being played in out frontline, from Pato, Ronnie, 'dorf and Borriello was absolutley equisite at times. I'm feeling very confident a top 3 place can be earned this year.

Agreed, I especially liked Pato's goal. Ancelotti had a very defensive mindset, while Leonardo likes to risk, which I like (might be because he's young and inexperienced, but I think he's doing well with what he has). I'd like to see Huntelaar play more though, Borriello is good but not as good as starting in the 11 every game.

Looking forward towards the CL matches, lots of important games this week. If only Pato's goal wasn't ruled out by that moronic referee we wouldn't be under much pressure.
