I'm trying to get back into FireRed, but Platinum is too much fun, and the better movepools/Physical-Special split made a lot of pokemon better, but a select few worse.

LG - Nostalgia mostly. I remember 3rd Grade the most fondly because it was when I first played Pokemon. Good 'ol Red Version and the red GameBoy Pocket.

Emerald - Because I have yet to beat the story mode and my brother got rid of my Ruby version long ago. I kinda like the GBA graphics better than those of D/P/Pt too.

Being able to migrate pokemon into Platinum version after getting my pokemon into the level 60s. That's how I got level 100: Charizard, Blastoise, Flareon, Vaporeon, Mr. Mime, Dragonite. Level 80 Venusaur. Level 93 Blaziken,

They are good for helping to complete the pokedex in Platinum. I like playing in the different regions as well.

I like doing a new game after beating the elite four and moving my Pokemon into platinum.

My leafGreen party: Kingler, Hypno, Victreebel, Dodrio, Nidoqueen, and Raichu.

(I already have a level 100 Blastoise so I put Wartortle in the PC.)

DP was too short and I reset like 20 times but I still play ruby because I make sweet teams and I want to 100% the game just Contests battle tower left
and you can't go wrong with almost every secret base spot taken I had so many friends restart make a new team pick a new spot and put the base in mine they never told be where but I keep finding 1 every week still!!

Third Gen was where it all really started for me, I was more into the TCG when I was a kid and growing up, I never really touched the handheld games that much.

I remember playing Ruby for the first time at a friend's place and after that, I just went with it. 4th Gen is alright, but 3rd Gen is where it all started for me and it's nice to just go back to the beginning and replay whatcha started with (2nd Gen is pretty amazing too, not gonna lie)

I'm playing LG in preparation for English Soul Silver, so I can relive the 'RBY to GSC' dynamic I had with the originals.

Since my DS Lite tore up and a Gray DS Phat tore up.
And all I have are my Blue DS Phat with a busted top screen *Bottom only works and can only play GBA games on the touch screen*, GBA SP and GBA original,
And since My Gen 1 and Gen 2 games either don't work or internal battery died out years ago, I play 3rd gen more.

Leafgreen and Emerald are amazing games.
LG has so many amazing Pokémon, I'm playing it (at this moment) for my Suicune (which I don't have yet).
Emerald because it has a loads of things to do in the game. It has other battle places in the Battle Frontier then in Platinum, and I like that.

ruby and sapphire had better starters. Swampert got stab earthquake blaziken got nice attacking stats.

First and foremost? Because my army of Sneasels are on Emerald. Yeah, I have tons of them thanks to Pokemon Box and a billion memory cards for the Gamecube but the ones I have nicknamed, raised and adore are all on Emerald. *has a seperate army on Pearl*

Also... the Battle Frontier. I love it and love Hoenn's Frontier Brains way more than Sinnoh's. I doubt I could ever get bored of it.
