Common sense would dictate that offering a youtube sub for a pokemon is probably going to get you banned but hey, then again it is SPP wifi chat so common sense apparently doesn't exist there.

Your ban was legit and will be removed when the ops want to remove it. In the mean time, I suggest you read the rules here as well because double posting will get you into trouble.

No. Typically manual bans last until the ban list is cleared, and since the list itself fills up fairly quickly I'd expect your ban to last no longer then 48 hours or so. Maybe up to 3 days but I doubt it :U

Ok so yesterday I was on, did nothing wrong. I battled around 3 or so people and then logged off. today I go on, but have been permanently banned for some reason I have no idea.

It's me again, Sorry that I opened up a new thread. I didn't think I was more important than others, i simply clicked on the wrong button. Sorry about that, I would also like to explain the misunderstanding. I didn't not read the rules of the wifi chat room at first which resolved the ban. I realized that I had violate the rules later. I think I deserve a second chance since it's only my second day here. I understood everthing now, and stuff like this won't happen again.

However, I will explain and if logs are still needed, I can certainly get them. A user named Katya/azurill and her friend, Mulan, were basically insulting and making racist comments in #spp when I entered the chat this morning. Other chatters found it insulting and racist as well. Both azurill and Mulan continuously insulted me as well as other chatters in the channel #bulbagarden on SystemNet (though none of the people they insulted were there). I have an instance where Katya insulted two good friends of mine, Nekusagi and Nando.

Not only is this insulting to those with mental disabilities, it's insulting to them. Mulan and azurill insulted me constantly. Fenix told me to "grow a pair," Hinata told me to basically get over it and ignore them (which why should I do that when they insist on insulting me), and Reno was the person who banned me. None of them did a thing to stop azurill and/or Mulan.

And I think I know why. azurill is Katya. And Katya just so happens to be friends with many of the chatters there, including the chat ops. Does this make her above the rules? No, it certainly doesn't make her above the rules. She should have to follow the rules just like everyone else. And there IS a rule against making racist comments. And it's not tolerated.

And these would be the four rules that Katya broke:
5) Do not pointlessly insult, flame, or troll. <- azurill and Mulan consistantly called me fat. Admittedly, I am a bit overweight, but calling me fat? I'm going to take that as an insult. Joking or not, it's still an insult and action should have been taken.

11) Racism of any kind will not be tolerated. <- azurill and Mulan repeatedly made racist remarks about Americans. One of the ones I can remember are that they called Americans "dirty, uneducated scum." I don't care if azurill or Mulan are American or not. I don't particularly care WHAT their race is. These comments were rude and racist. The rule says it wouldn't be tolerated. Why was it tolerated for azurill/Katya and Mulan? Whether it was a joke or not, it was still racist and it shouldn't be tolerated.

19) Do not fish for attention. <- Admittedly, I broke this rule as well when I confronted them on it, but I had good reason. However, they were doing this as well. So technically, had action been taken with them, I wouldn't have had to "fish for attention" to get some sort of action to be taken.

23) Do not boss around other members of the chatroom. <- azurill and Mulan repeatedly told others to shush and that they were out of line to talk. I don't care if this was a joke or not. It was still done and the rule was broken.

Now I understand fully that Katya is a friend of some of the regulars there as well as the ops. But does this make her better than everyone in the chat? No, it certainly doesn't. The ops should take action on her regardless of if they are her friend or not. Being a friend with the ops does NOT make you above the rules. Of course, if someone else in there breaks a rule, they get banned. But when Katya does it, it's fine. Admittedly, I may have broken a few rules and I'll accept my ban if it's going to last, but I would like a reason beyond "shut up twat." Preferably, a proper reason.
