Kotone in the Manga?

Knowing that Kotone will replace Kris in HGSS and that all of the main characters in the games become characters in the manga, what do you velieve is the fate of Kotone. Will she become a main character, get a small cameo, or won't even appear.

I think that she will become a Pokedex holder in a "HeartGold And SoulSilver" chapter, and will become a junior to the Johto guys. As for Pokemon I think it would be fitting for her to get a Meganium like Crys to signify her replacing her, and she may even overtake Crys who may retire because of her. What do you think?

Why would Kotane replace Crys? There is ni reason for that to happen. Plus every dexholder has a name that resembles the game HGSS have Silver and Gold already. They didn't replace Blue so why Crys that would make the story a completely mess. How would she get a Meganium Crys won't give her fatefull partner away she and megapeon have got through so much. Crys used to have Brown hair they switched to to match her game counter part and in the Emerald arc they switched it back. Plus Elm hasn't got any new starters. So i'm saying this for ..... the one millionth time. Crys won't be replaced

I hope Kotone/Soul will be the main character in HGSS series wiht a Marill or Pichu as starter. But Chris, Gold and Silver have to get a great role too.

There are arguments for and against that idea. That's why I still say it could go either way.

In my opinion, she's probably already appeared- as Crys. So if Crys does end up wearing the Hg/Ss girl clothes (which I think she will), it can't automatically be said that Kotone will never appear.

As for Kotone being in "the manga"... there's more than one Pokemon manga...

I don't want manga Crys replaced, and even Kotone is put in as a seperate character, she WON'T. Why in god's name would Hidenori replace Crys? None of the other characters were ever replaced and he's squeazing a lot of room in with thirteen dex holders now. Besides Crys is my second favorite character, so if Kotone does replace her(we haven't even seen her yet how do you know she'll even be as good a character as Crystal?) I will raise hell, or worse, go Superboy-Prime on the series.

I hope I don't sound too angry but Crys doesn't deserve to be replaced or retconed. On a side note, if you don't know who Superboy-Prime is just look him up on either Wikipedia, or the DC Comics Database.

We can discuss this all we want, but the truth is we can't be sure of anything, except Cris not getting replaced (it's the least probable thing to happen i think).

why would she be replaced? if you have a character who's benn in the series for a long time, then the reason for replacing is...... exactly, there is none.

Lol, glad to see you were following along. Actually, I think I'd just throw caution and intelligence to the wind and scream whatever I want in a fit of anger. Particularily "Crystal isn't supposed to be replaced!" And yell about Kotone as if I were right in her face, "You were never a Dex Holder! You're just(keeping it clean) garbage!"

But you know I was only kidding about the Superboy-Prime part. ^_^

Also that being said, we all know Blue wasn't replaced, but bringing it up hasn't convinced anyone before so yeah.

Worst-case scenario, I think Crystal will don Kotone's outfit. No way they're replacing her.

I think there was a similar problem with Blue in the FR/LG manga.

If one thinks the outfit looks hideous (I used to it, but it's not exactly my favorite outfit), then it'd still looked hideous even if the writer invented a new character named Kotone and gave her those clothes, right?

So I don't see how it should matter that Crys even wears the outfit because if if the outfit itself is hideous, then it'd be hideous no matter who wears it.

So... yeah, I also don't see the big deal in Crys wearing the Hg/Ss clothes.
