Do you train your pokemon evenly?

It used to be that I would always have my Starter one level ahead of every other pokemon in my party. I don't do that anymore though, I just train them evenly now.

I used to train only my starter and one other Pokemon but now I train them all around the same level. No more than 4 levels apart.

Yes, I love to train each of my Pokemon equally, to have them at as even levels as possible with one another. The only exception I've ever made in the past is having my starter Pokemon maybe 1-3 levels higher than the rest of my team, since, as my first Pokemon, it seems only right they have some sort of superiority/seniority over the others.

When I first played the Pokemon games however, when I was about 12 years old, I captured a TON of Pokemon, but only trained my starter until it was at a crazy high level. xD Example: My first Silver run-through, I had a level 80something Meganium by the time I reached the Elite 4.

I never believed in HM Slaves for some reason. Though my starter always ends up about 5 levels higher than the others XD

I always train my team evenly that way they are all ready for any Gym battle and the one I need is always at or near the same lvl as the trainer or Gym leader.

Yes, I do. I usually have 3 main pokemon, and train them in sets of 2.

at the time of the first three gyms, i usually raise 2 powerful ones (always Gardevoir and Combusken/Manectric at the time of gym 3) and at the while i give the exp. share to my lowby pokes(usually plan my party ahead so i dont waste valuable xp on pokes that are gonna be replaced anyways), untill they gain better moves so they can start killing instead of getting killed all the time. it works just fine for me gardevoir is sooo overpowered at the beginning of the game, so its definately worthwile to catch a ralts at the start and spend time in raising it

Well, i restarted the game so i guess i can answer differently now.

Atm im not training my team evenly, im not even trying, i just put the effective type out front first. So far its been Lairon for a while thats sitting at 34 now, and i got a Azumaril that is sitting at 25, so there is a bit of range.

So no, atm, im not training them evenly. But so far its a good thing on my end

Yes I do train my mon' evenly...here is how:

-Always have the lowest mon's in party
-When trading, 1. Other versions I have -> lowest mon's to current game I'm working on, 2. Other peoples games -> Not there yet
-If I have both GBA and DS versions, I work more on the GBA mon' games first
-Keep lowest level as high as next gym average level and super effective mon's to the gyms type
-As soon as !ALL! versions, GBA and up, are collected and finished, get all high level and rare mon's to GBA -> Emerald -> DS -> Platinum/H-Gold -> Wii -> Battle Revolution and restart one game at a time.

No, I don't train my team evenly and I probably never will. Just because it's just way too much work. I like to go for type effectiveness, not level evenness.

I train them all evenly, usually try for 5 levels up before the next gym, so yeah I train evenly.

I never train my pokemon(s) evenly. I only train the pokemon that i start the game (GSC,RSE,FR&LG Whichever) I only train my starter to Level.100 until i completely beat the pokemon league.

But not only me,I see most peoples does that. After i beat the pokemon league then i catch one of my favorite pokemon then train it to level 100 and so on.

Throughout the course of the game, I find that my pokemon's levels always tend to even out, with the exception of the one lone pokemon on my team who I rarely ever seem to use.

Well When it comes to Tactics in training.
i train my starter higher than anyone else.
the average level i keep them at is Lv.70
I'm not going to post my Team. because i'm sure thats Spam.
Anyway, I Raise my Pokémon the same way, but the Starter will always be Higher.

On my sapphire, no, because the last time I saw it, my rayquaza and sceptile were in the 90s, and my other pokemon were only around level 50

I always train all my pokemon evenly.Ever since my pokemon team reached 6 in emerald,I haven't caught any other pokemon until all 6 pokemon reached LV.100.

i do my highest level is 81 and my lowest is 79 in Platinum, it makes it easier to destroy pokemon when your strongest faints
